  • Enjoy a year-on-year property price appreciation ( for example there was a surge of 41% in property price in Lisbon in the last 5 years) 

  • Not interested in being a tax resident in Europe as of now.  

On the 8th October 2012, the Government of Portugal made changes to the Immigration Law 29/2012 allowing non-EU Citizens to receive a temporary EU Residence Permit for up to 5 years in exchange for investing in Portugal. 

 

The new regulations offer non-EU Citizens, a simple and fast way for property investors to receive a five-year Residence Permit.

 

As of 1 Jan 2021, the changes in Portugal Golden Visa will be in force. This includes

  • Minimum Investment Fund option will be increased from €350,000 to €500,000

  • Capital Transfer option will be increased from €1 million to €1.5 million

  • For real estate properties to qualify for Golden Visa, they have to be located in the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira or in the interior territories, outside Lisbon and Porto.

TIMELINE (FROM START TO SUBMISSION: LESS THAN 60 DAYS) 

 

Once you have signed agreement with us, we will proceed three lines of services at the same instance

 

  1. Open Portugal Bank Account and obtain your Tax Number

  2. Assist you to select and acquire your investment  be it funds or property. Assist you in all the steps that required until your name is shown in the government system

  3. Assist you to gather the personal documents and to proceed legalization. 

 

Partnering with our assigned lawyer and as a result of many experience, we are the ONLY agent that assist you to open three level of services at the same time. As a result, you can submit your Golden Visa application from sketch to completion within 2 months. 

 

It will take around 60 days for the approval of your visa application. By then, you will tell us about your travelling schedule so we will schedule you a finger print appointment around your travel schedue. This is the only time that you need to arrive Portugal. 

At that point, you will have to pay for the Government Residency Permit Fee. 

Clients can travel to Portugal to collect the Residency Permit, alternatively, our lawyers can collect on your behalf. Residence Permit is issued within 45 days upon your application .

The estimated time to receive residence visa approval depends on the due diligence processing time on a case-by-case basis.
